Last updated: May 20, 2025
Welcome to DoitCal — a WhatsApp-based service that enables you to schedule Google Calendar meetings quickly, intelligently, and in natural Hebrew language.
Terms of Use
- The service is in beta and may experience bugs, limitations, or changes without prior notice.
- Use of the service is at your own risk.
- The service does not constitute professional advice or a guarantee of full, uninterrupted functionality.
- It is prohibited to use the service for illegal, abusive, or privacy-invading activities.
- The service may change or be discontinued at any time.
Privacy Policy
While using the service, we collect the following information:
- WhatsApp phone number
- Email address
- Meeting details extracted from messages (such as date, time, title, duration, description, etc.)
- Technical usage data (such as message timestamps, whether an event was created, type of processing performed, etc.)
When using voice messages:
- Voice recordings are temporarily processed to generate a text transcription.
- Voice recordings are not stored after transcription is completed.
What is not stored?
- The full content of the original WhatsApp messages is not stored.
- Voice recordings are not stored.
- The system only extracts relevant meeting details necessary for creating the calendar event.
- The original text is securely transmitted for immediate processing via AI systems but is not permanently stored or saved in our service databases.
- Note: While we do not store message content, third-party platforms involved in message delivery – including Twilio (our WhatsApp integration provider) and WhatsApp (Meta) – may log and retain message content in accordance with their respective privacy and data retention policies.
Where is the information stored?
- Information is stored securely on Google Cloud (Firebase Firestore).
- Messages are transmitted via Twilio (WhatsApp API).
- Information is protected using industry-standard security measures and is not shared with third parties.
Why do we use the information?
- To enable connection to your Google Calendar
- To create meetings automatically
- To improve the service based on usage patterns (in a non-identifiable manner)
- To send necessary reminders or operational links
Data protection and Security
- All data is encrypted during transmission using HTTPS. Sensitive information, including Google Calendar tokens, is also encrypted at rest using Google Cloud’s secure infrastructure.
- We store user data in Google Cloud Firestore, a database compliant with ISO 27001, SOC 2, and other industry standards. Access to Firestore is restricted and closely monitored.
- Access to administrative systems, including Firebase, Google Cloud Console, Twilio, Render, and backend code repositories – is restricted to authorized personnel only. All administrator accounts are protected using two-factor authentication (2FA). No external collaborators have access to our infrastructure, and service accounts are scoped to the minimum required permissions.
- We use a small number of third-party platforms:
- Twilio – used to receive and send WhatsApp messages. Data is transmitted securely via Twilio’s API, which adheres to industry-standard encryption and security practices.
- Google APIs – used to create and manage calendar events, with your explicit consent. Communication with Google is handled via secure OAuth 2.0 and HTTPS protocols.
- OpenAI – we use OpenAI’s API to help interpret free-text messages and generate scheduling insights. Only the message content is sent for real-time processing; no personally identifiable information (such as names, phone numbers, or emails) is shared. We do not store this information or retain it after processing. Communication with OpenAI is encrypted and handled via secure API connections.
Your Rights
- Users may revoke calendar access through their Google account and contact us at any time to request access to update or delete their information.
- Please send inquiries to: hello@wendystrategy.com
